- Manitowoc is opening its newest office in Santiago de Surco, a district of Lima, as part of the company’s plan to expand its presence throughout the region.
- The new facility will expedite parts deliveries and facilitate access to aftersales services in Peru and neighboring countries.
Manitowoc has announced the opening of its first office in Peru, located at the Link Tower in Santiago de Surco, a district of Lima. The new facility will include a parts warehouse to enable faster delivery of parts nationwide, augmented with locally based service technicians to deliver industry-leading product support. Peruvian customers will have direct access to Grove, National Crane, and Manitowoc cranes. Potain services will be improved through local dealerships.
The new office is part of Manitowoc’s plans to expand its presence in Latin America to support customers given the strategic importance of Peru in the region. It is the Company’s fifth location in Latin America — in addition to Lima, Manitowoc has offices in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile), Bogota (Colombia), and Monterrey (Mexico).
General Manager for Manitowoc in Latin America Cristian Galaz commented, “Peru is an important market for Manitowoc that has been growing over the years. We are very excited about the opportunity to enhance our services in the country. With the new office, our customers can rely on direct and efficient local support. In addition to parts and services, the new office will provide technical training and machine refurbishment services in the near future.”
An official inauguration event is scheduled for November.
